WWE Superstar Injured in Car Accident

While on the way to the airport for a Raw WWE Live Event, professional wrestler Bray Wyatt was involved in a devastating collision. The accident result in Wyatt sustaining multiple injuries that prevented him from competing at the WWE Event he was scheduled to appear at.

The WWE issued the following statement about the accident:

“Bray Wyatt was in a car accident Friday and has sustained multiple injuries, WWE.com can confirm. Wyatt was en route to the airport for this past weekend’s Raw WWE Live Events when he was in a head-on automobile collision that left his car totaled. He was treated at Tampa General Hospital and has since been released. Due to the injuries sustained, Wyatt did not compete at this weekend’s WWE Live Events and will not be present at tonight’s Raw.”

According to a police report, Wyatt was found at fault for the accident. The report states that Wyatt rear-ended the car in front of him, causing the vehicle to collide with a third car. Police cited Wyatt for “careless driving due to his failure to operate his vehicle in a careful and prudent manner.” Law enforcement did not state whether Wyatt was distracted when the crash occurred, but the report does say that he was “inattentive” after the collision.

During an interview with TMZ Sports, Wyatt confirmed that he suffered multiple injuries as a result of the accident. He said that he was “moving around” and that he is “gonna live through it” because he can’t die.

Wyatt made an appearance at a WWE Live Event in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, which marked his return to the ring since the devastating accident. It was reported that a head injury sustained in the accident was preventing Wyatt from making any in-ring appearances.
